Step 1. Prepare

New carbon strips: Look at the specifications and models of carbon strips when you buy them to make sure they match your printer.

 After the power is off, open the housing of the engine of the printing and labeling machine

Step 3 Release the print head

Most print labeling machines have a latch that releases the print head, usually a lever or button, which is found and flipped upward to release so that the carbon tape mounting area can be easily manipulated.

Step 4 Install the carbon tape

Install the carbon tape in the carbon tape installation position and prepare an empty paper tube (to collect the used carbon tape). Then insert one end of the carbon tape under the print head and install it around the print head (note: the carbon tape needs to pass over the sensor), ensure that the carbon tape covers the print head evenly, and then attach the other end of the carbon tape to the paper tube.

Carbon tape tension should be moderate, not too loose and not too tight.

Step 5. Close the print head and cover door

After installation, the printhead latch is flipped to reset. This will keep the carbon strip properly tensioned and in contact with the label paper, and then close the printer door.

Step 6. Test printing

Finally, do a test print to make sure the carbon tape is installed correctly, and you can use the printer's self-check function or print a test label to verify that everything is OK.
